ABOUT THE PROJECT
Wild Honey is a local craft ice cream shop located in Longview, TX.
We have created content for Wild Honey since its opening a few years back, but more recently had the opportunity to fully refresh their branding identity from the ground up.
Our work for them has become much more involved & we love it! This past year they entrusted us to design the graphic elements & interior for their second location, as well as creating their new to-go pint labels. We designed full wall wraps, custom menu graphics, along with custom branded animation for their TV menus. Talk about a dream come true!
Since updating their branding Wild Honey has become more visually cohesive and reflective of their personality as a business. We manage social media for them and exclusively create their content on all media platforms.
Original Logo
The original logo had great bones, but was a little busy. Lot’s of strokes, shadows, some overlapping, and different styles dated it a bit and muddied up the silhouette.
Redesigned Logo
Time to clean it up! We used brighter and stronger colors, rounded the supporting fonts, and removed all the extras. We moved things around a bit to give it a clearer silhouette, so the logo could be readable when very small.
Original Ice Cream Bee
The original Ice Cream Bee is so fun, but had a few slight issues. The wing lines aren’t the same and some of the curves in the cone aren’t symmetrical. Small things that, when fixed, can take this design to the next level!
Redesigned Ice Cream Bee
We addressed the previous issues and brightened it up. We redesigned this guy to help both the ice cream cone and bee aspects feel more balanced. The head scoop is smaller giving it less visual weight. We added antenna, defined the wing shape, & curved the cone.
